How To Support Us

ERC can further its mission only through the generous support of individuals and organizations equally committed to high ethical standards within their organizations. There are many ways to help.

Support the Effort to Share New Learning through the Annual Campaign

A donation of general support allows us to develop and implement programs that foster a more ethical culture in schools, communities and businesses, as well as conduct research to advance thinking in applied ethics.

Unrestricted contributions are combined with fee-forservice revenue to fund:

  • General operating expenses and salaries;
  • Resource development and outreach, including the
    ERC website and Ethics Today Online newsletter;
  • Development and publishing costs for informational materials, free publications, and the annual report;
  • Research and fundraising; and
    Program design and evaluation.

ERC seeks sponsors for our whitepapers, enabling us to print and distribute our findings to the broader community.

Engage the ERC to improve your ethics/compliance program.

Choosing ERC to conduct an ethics survey or program assessment yields multiple benefits, strengthening your organization's ethics program while adding to ERC's store of practical knowledge and research.

Donate Your DataTM

Many organizations conduct ethics and compliance surveys among their employees, ranging from a few questions in an HR questionnaire to full enterprise-wide survey efforts. But once the survey is over, what can you do with the data? As a 501(c)(3), ERC has established a means for organizations to contribute to the broader community in a unique way.

Through our new Donate Your DataTM program, organizations can donate datasets from completed ethics survey questions, removed of identifiers, to the ERC for further research. ERC will combine data with other collected datasets in order to conduct research on ethics program effectiveness and to enhance our datasets for benchmarking. Donations of datasets through the program are tax-deductible.

For more information about the Donate Your DataTM program, our use of the data and protections, please contact us at ethics@ethics.org.
