Character Development at ERC

The students of today are the employees, citizens and leaders of tomorrow. To help educators prepare this future workforce tomake ethical choices, we have developed resources that equip students with values and skills for ethical decision-making. Although ERC has programs for all levels, our focus remains on high school and school-to-work programs that foster ethics in schools and youth organizations around the country.

We assist individual schools and districts with the development of character education programs that are based upon the unique core values of the school, integrated into the existing school culture, and inclusive of all members of the school community.

Our distinguished history in the field includes:

• Work with over 300 schools nationally and internationally to implement, evaluate, and support character education initiatives;
• Design and continued production of MAXIMize the Moment®, an online character education resource, which has been used in schools in over 20 states and three countries;
• Focus on the typically underserved secondary-school population and school-to-work initiatives;
• Experience in creating effective partnerships between the corporate and educational communities.
