ERC Fellows Program
Since 1997, the ERC Fellows Program has brought together chief ethics and compliance officers and general counsels from major corporations in a uniquely collaborative format. The group also includes representatives from government, non-profit and educational institutions who share an expertise and interest in business and government ethics both internally and in the public arena.
The ERC Fellows Program focused on ethical corporate leadership at its winter meeting Jan. 20-22, 2011 in Washington, D.C. Some well-known names inside the Beltway took part in the discussions. View picture gallery.
The ERC Fellows is a forum for meaningful and practical discussion related to pressing and emerging ethics issues. This thought leadership drives timely working group projects that address business challenges resulting in practical insights proven to change individual and organizational behavior and corporate culture. These research-validated changes reduce risk and protect reputation – an organization’s most vital asset.
By virtue of the ERC’s strategic location in Washington, DC, the ERC Fellows engage with policy leaders and advance corporate interests. Most recently the ERC Fellows have hosted dialogues with senior leaders from the Department of Justice, US Sentencing Commission and the Security and Exchange Commission.

The ERC Fellows are chief ethics and compliance officers and general counsels at major US corporations with responsibility for advancing their companies’ ethical culture and leadership, affecting hundreds of thousands of employees around the world. Complementing the corporate fellows are scholars specializing in research in organizational behavior, ethics and management, senior ethics officials from the Federal sector and related nonprofit executives. The program is geared to experienced professionals charged with advancing sophisticated ethics and compliance programs in a global economy.
Fellows Working Groups
The ERC Fellows Program Supports six active working groups to conduct collaborative research and practical work products, including: white papers, interviews, surveys, templates, and literature reviews. Click here to learn more.
In addition to the publication of relevant and cutting-edge resources for executives, the ERC Fellows meet twice a year in January and July to host dynamic dialogues with speakers and influential panelists.

Stanley C. Pace Leadership in Ethics Award
The ERC Fellows annually bestow the Stanley C. Pace Leadership in Ethics Award to honor an organization, individual or group of individuals displaying excellence in the ethics field. The award recognizes the recipient's accomplishments and contributions in ethical business management.
