Support the Effort to Share New Learning through the Annual Campaign

This past year marked ERC's 90th year of operation as a center, and it was a landmark year for us in terms of our impact.  
 
The Ethics Resource Center (ERC) is a non-profit, non-partisan educational organization exempt from taxation under the Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Each year, individuals and corporations across the country support the work of ERC through their tax-deductible contributions. Our revenues come from a variety of resources, and fall into either the restricted or unrestricted category.
 
Show your support for high ethical standards and practices by donating to the Ethics Resource Center. 
 
You can contribute in three ways:

Fund a Specific Project

Support Organizational Ethics Research.

  • Help us create and expand the next version of the National Business Ethics Survey® (NBES).
  • Engage the ERC to conduct survey research for your organization or industry.

Sponsor an ERC Whitepaper

ERC regularly issues whitepapers based upon research we conduct. For example, in 2010, ERC used its data for the development and distribution of whitepapers on the following topics:

  • Relationship between corporate ethics and employee engagement
  • Employee reporting of misconduct
  • Impact of retaliation against whistleblowers
  • Ethics and generational differences among employees
  • Relationship between belt-tightening tactics and misconduct in the workplace

ERC seeks sponsors for our whitepapers, enabling us to print and distribute our findings to the broader community.

Donate Your Data™

Many organizations conduct ethics and compliance surveys among their employees, ranging from a few questions in an HR questionnaire to full enterprise-wide survey efforts. But once the survey is over, what can you do with the data? As a 501(c)(3), ERC has established a means for organizations to contribute to the broader community in a unique way.

Through our new Donate Your Data™ program, organizations can donate datasets from completed ethics survey questions, removed of identifiers, to the ERC for further research. ERC will combine data with other collected datasets in order to conduct research on ethics program effectiveness and to enhance our datasets for benchmarking. Donations of datasets through the program are tax-deductible.
