His focus is on investigation of employee concerns related to standards of business conduct; ethics, inclusion, and diversity as key components of corporate mission and values; and partnership across corporate support functions.

    Beth Colling is Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for CDM Smith, an employee-owned Engineering Design and Consulting firm headquartered in Boston, MA. She is responsible for the development and oversight of the firm’s global Compliance Program, reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

    Beth is an attorney with more than 25 years of experience in employment and business law, risk management and compliance. She has worked in both private practice as a litigator as well as in-house for a number of international publicly-traded organizations. Her roles range from Managing Attorney to Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

    Recently, Beth’s focus has been on creating and implementing compliance programs for organizations that do not have a formal structure in place. She is a regular speaker at numerous forums on topics ranging from leadership and female empowerment to implementing legal compliance measures for multinational companies. She holds a law degree from the University of Virginia and is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP). She is a member of her firm’s Engineers Without Borders Board of Directors, a member of the Women’s Leadership Network, and a Member of the Advisory Board for an international non-governmental organization that creates economic independence opportunities for women in Turkey and Pakistan.

    As the Customer Success Manager, Brianna works hand in hand with Members of Compliance Design Club to make sure they have the best experience possible. Prior to becoming a Broadcat, Brianna was the Manager of Compliance and Ethics at ON Semiconductora and HR Business Partner and WillScot Mobile Mini.

    Equipped with a Master’s in Compliance and Ethics and having been a Design Club Member herself, she brings a valuable and important perspective into working with our customer base. When she’s not on the phone talking with our customers, you can find her on the side of her favorite cliff, paddle-boarding on a lake, or doing yoga.

    Cherie Raven is director of ethics and business conduct within the Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) Legal, Contracts & Compliance (LCC) organization. She supports the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) business. Raven’s areas of expertise and responsibility include ethics and compliance program development, data analytics, training and communications, organizational design and professional development, risk assessment, and internal investigations.

    Raven has been an ethics professional for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining Raytheon, she was director of ethics for BAE Systems, Inc. in Arlington, Virginia, where she was responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of the company’s ethics and business conduct program including communications, training, policies, procedures and investigations during the company’s FCPA and ITAR-related consent agreements. Before that Raven was the ethics subject matter expert at ITT Corporation in White Plains, New York during the company’s negotiations and 2007 settlement with the United States Departments of State, Justice and the U.S. Army.

    Raven began her career at the Ethics Resource Center (ERC), now part of the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI), where she provided consulting expertise to multinational corporations on improving the effectiveness of their ethics and compliance programs.

    Raven has bachelor and master’s degrees in History from the American University in Washington, D.C.

    Chris has consulted to and worked for BP for over 20 years with assignments from the jungles of Venezuela to offshore Gulf of Mexico (GoM). In early 2021, he was appointed as Squad Lead. Chris also serves as a Contract Accountable Manager for one of the largest suppliers in GoM. Prior to BP, Chris was a consultant to oil and gas / government organizations in Asia, South and Central America as well as across the USA.

    Deb Barrett serves as the Vice President of Global Compliance and Business Resilience for Qualcomm Incorporated, a leading wireless technology company in San Diego, CA. She joined Qualcomm in 2008 as the Sr. Director of Network Deployment and Operations, where she was responsible for broadcast network development, construction, regulatory compliance, and operations. She transitioned to the Company’s corporate legal department in 2012 as the first employee dedicated to corporate compliance matters. Deb is responsible for leading Qualcomm’s global ethics, compliance, and business resilience programs, including employee education, outreach, policy development, business decision support, M&A, risk assessment, third-party due diligence, risk monitoring, and internal ethics investigations. She leads a team of ethics, compliance, and business resilience professionals (76% of the organization comprised of women) that support the Company’s global business operations. Deb serves as the Chair of Qualcomm’s Corporate Ethics Committee and is also a member of Qualcomm’s Sustainability Leadership Committee, Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Privacy Committees. Fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture at Qualcomm is a personal passion of Deb’s, so she also serves as an executive sponsor of Qualcomm’s employee network for women (“Qwomen”). Outside of work, Deb serves on the Board of Directors of Serving Seniors, a nonprofit organization based in San Diego that aids low-income and homeless seniors using an innovative model of whole-person, wraparound support including meals, housing, health, and social services. Deb holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and a Master of Science Degree in Business Ethics and Compliance.

    During his 12-year BP career, Duane has managed Engineering , Procurement and Construction contracts for GoM .He has established and manages the TAR Program- Turnaround Projects for commercial and procurement and supports critical drilling and subsea tieback contracting work in the Gulf of Mexico .

    Before joining BP, Duane worked 35 years in the oil and gas business managing international multi billion-dollar projects and operations in refining; production and exploration; drilling programs and engineering; and construction Programs for onshore and offshore facilities, pipelines and terminals.  Has spent over 33 years overseas in 19 countries working in and supporting the oil production facilities , refineries and drill rigs and platforms.

    Elizabeth has been working for Southern California Edison for almost 12 years, after being in the private sector of logistics and commercial distribution. Her current role with Southern California Edison is CAD DESIGNER of electrical infrastructure. Elizabeth has held this position for the last 4 years — and truly enjoy what she does and glad to help others when in need.

    Elizabeth became a Values Ambassador in 2018, nominated by her peers, which she found very humbling and an honor to represent her district as such.

    She is originally from Los Angeles, California, and her parents are of Mexican descent, but her father is also half Chinese – hence, her last name, Chin! Elizabeth has four adult children and two granddaughters – and another one on the way!

In this role, Eve oversees the bp ethics and compliance program as part of EPA and Plea agreements. She continued in this role after bp reinvent to support the region in embedding continuous improvement in Ethics and Compliance.

    Dr. Hemma R. Lomax is a passionate ethics and compliance professional who is intrigued by the role of integrity in the context of corporate social responsibility. She is a senior corporate counsel in the Integrity & Compliance team at Snap, Inc. Hemma formerly worked in a similar role in the Global Ethics and Compliance Management team at the Walt Disney Company. Hemma has a passion for designing innovative global compliance programs and is a fan of co-creative design, behavioural science, and coaching for compliance. She is piloting a Kind Business Ambassador Program at Snap. Prior to moving in-house, Hemma served for just over a decade prosecuting financial fraud and corruption with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Hemma is also a British trained barrister (trial attorney) and has previously worked as Parliamentary Counsel for the UK government and as an advisor at the United Nations for the government of Guyana. Hemma is a strong advocate for integrity at work, active bystandership and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and she has a Ph.D in human rights and the laws of war. She lives in California with her husband and her two daughters.

    Janice Maron is a Section Manager in Con Edison’s Business Ethics & Compliance group. She leads the Business Ethics & Compliance communications team in designing and executing the strategy to increase awareness and engagement throughout the company, promoting an ethical culture, and supporting compliance and data privacy efforts. She developed and leads the company’s ethics ambassador program, the Values in Action (VIA) Advisors. The 100+ VIA Advisors help to promote Con Edison’s ethics and compliance messages and serve as a resource for colleagues across the company. During Janice’s 20+ years of experience in the communications field, she also worked in the professional services, entertainment, and consumer products industries supporting the organizations’ business objectives and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

    Helping teams solve complex problems in elegant ways, Jennifer currently serves as the Director of Professional Services for Broadcat, a compliance communications and training company. She works with professionals from many industries to support them in achieving their missions and goals with engaging and effective compliance guidance and tools.
    Prior to joining Broadcat, Jennifer spent over twenty years in various in-house compliance roles, culminating in the position of Chief Compliance Officer for University of Missouri (MU) Health.
    Whether seeing a large academic health system through a corporate integrity agreement, working to ensure regulatory compliance for important research efforts, collaborating with colleagues to achieve their visions of successful start-up companies, or enduring the challenge of a collegiate major infractions case, Jennifer leveraged her legal education to build a successful career supporting her organizations through interesting times.
    Jennifer has also served the broader compliance community as an inaugural member of the Association of University Export Control Officers (AUECO), chair of the compliance track for a National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) regional conference, and as a member and participant with other professional organizations and events.
    A native of St. Louis, she received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and completed her juris doctor, both at the University of Missouri. She resides in Columbia, Missouri with her husband, son, and a precocious cat!

During his 14 year bp career, Luis has worked in different onshore and offshore roles supporting multiple BP operating assets in GoM‎. Luis started of as a Facilities engineer in Houston and moved on to site engineering, process safety specialist and into operations leadership roles such as Production Team Lead, Operations Team Lead, and most recently Site Manager.

    Luis is married to his wonderful wife, Noelle, and have two amazing daughters, Elena and newborn Eloise He enjoys travelling and spending time with his family on the beaches in Puerto Rico.

    Mary Shirley is a New Zealand qualified lawyer with 17 years of Ethics and Compliance experience that includes working for data privacy and antitrust regulators, in-house and private practice/consultancy across five countries and four regions of the world. She is currently global Head of Culture of Integrity and Compliance Education at Fresenius Medical Care, assisting the company with an FCPA monitorship. Mary also hosts the Great Women in Compliance Podcast which aims to create a platform for the outstanding achievements of women in the field and sharing ideas and provide learning opportunities for everyone in Compliance. She co-authored book Sending the Elevator Back Down: What We’ve Learned From Great Women in Compliance (CCI Press, 2020). She was bestowed the honors of being named a Compliance Week Top Mind 2019, Trust Across America 2020 Top Thought Leader in Trust and Excellence in Compliance Award as Mentor of the Year 2022 by Compliance Week.

    Michael E. Santos is the Director of Ethics and Business Standards at Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. (“O&R”) a wholly owned subsidiary of Con Edison, Inc. In this role, he serves as the Chief Ethics Officer for O&R. He is a veteran business ethics investigator, administrator, and trainer; and is responsible for developing, monitoring, and enforcing all aspects of O&R’s Ethics Program including policies, compliance, communications, training, helpline, and investigations. Santos provides advice to employees and contractors seeking guidance with respect to the Standards of Business Conduct (“SBC”), have questions about company policies, or want to raise concerns about potential misconduct.

    As the ethics director, Santos is also involved in the company’s ethics-related activities including fraud risk analysis, enterprise risk management, third-party risk management, vendor training, and contractor oversight. He chairs O&R’s Business Ethics Council – O&R’s ethics ambassador program – and is involved in numerous Employee Resource Groups as an advisor and member. Santos believes that actively engaging in these initiatives keeps the ethics office in view of employees, informed of company strategy and helps him identify areas of opportunity. Santos’ approach is very “hands-on” and includes regular visits to the company’s regional offices to be available to employees. His leadership style includes personally engaging with employees which has led to increased trust in the ethics office and has encouraged a speak-up culture of ethical behavior.

    Pam practiced and taught martial arts for 10+ years and she enjoys good friends and good food and recently took up playing the guitar.

She has an MBA and B.S. in Aerospace Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University. Scottie resides in Charleston, SC with her husband and two children.

    Shanon Harmon is a Senior Advisor in Environmental Services at Southern California Edison. He leads cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of the Environmental Management System through communication strategy, organizational change management strategy, and culture change initiatives. Also, Shanon is an Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where he educates students in the Ph.D. in Business Psychology, Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology Programs.

    Shanon completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) with Academic Distinction (4.0 GPA) in March 2020 and Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. His dissertation and research were on “Leadership Influence on Occupational Safety: Psychological Safety and Safety Climate as Mediators Between Leadership and Safety Performance.” Prior to TCSPP, Shanon graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Arts in both Biology and Psychology from Elmira College.

    Shanon’s other activities include completing two Ironman events in the Woodlands, Texas and Santa Rosa, CA, hiking Mt. Whitney, traveled to Bali, Indonesia and New Zealand, and obtaining his Distinguish Toastmasters (DTM) in Toastmasters International.

Con Edison CEB is part of the Consolidated Edison, Inc. family of companies. Sonni is also a Values in Action Advisor (VIA). She has been in this role for a few years. As a VIA advisor Sonni is recognized for implementing ethics policies awareness initiatives throughout the company.

    Project Specialist, Business Ethics and Compliance | Con Edison

    Stacy Simpson is a Project Specialist in the Program Management group at Con Edison of New York. In her role, she is responsible for the development of strategies and outreach materials to support Con Edison’s ethics ambassadors’ program (Values in Action Advisors) to maximize its effectiveness in disseminating the company’s ethics messages. She also serves as a resource for her colleagues on ethics-related matters.
    She has over 15 years of experience that covers a variety of industries, where she was able to develop her exceptional communications and relationship-building skills. Prior to joining the Business Ethics & Compliance group, she was an Administrator for the Supplier Diversity Program, working with minority and women owned businesses (“M/WBEs”) aspiring to do business with Con Edison. Stacy was also a Small Business Liaison Officer at Northrop Grumman; a major U.S. Department of Defense contractor, where she helped small business suppliers work through the maze of government regulations required to become subcontractors.
    Stacy is a graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia where she earned a B.A. in Communications. She also earned a M.S. in Educational Technology at Long Island University-C.W. Post.

    Toni-Lynne Langeveld is a Senior Advisor in the Ethics & Compliance organization at Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities. She is responsible for communications and outreach in support of key ethics and compliance initiatives and programs. She leads the company’s ethics culture survey, codes of conduct, and co-leads Edison’s Values Ambassador program, comprised of over 95 employee representatives from across the company selected to help promote Edison’s core values and to provide the Ethics and Compliance organization with input and insight into company culture.

    Prior to joining Ethics & Compliance, she was a project manager in the Customer Service Business Planning organization, executing the division’s brand campaign and was key in developing a leadership program pilot for high potential employees. She has produced several videos to promote the company’s focus on customer engagement, smart energy, and safety as well as videos highlighting the achievements of individuals and teams.

    She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of California, Irvine. She is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and holds an internet crime & identity theft certificate from California State University, Long Beach. She obtained a project management certificate from the California Institute of Technology and is a current Notary Public.

    Tricia Ryan is a project specialist in Business Ethics and Compliance at Consolidated Edison, Inc.. She is a skilled project manager and oversees key vendor relationships. Tricia supports the Ethics Helpline and the investigation case management system, and manages all aspects of the Conflicts of Interest Certificate of Disclosure process. She designs and develops the annual Standards of Business Conduct Training and various employee engagement tools.

    Tricia has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Dayton, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and is licensed to practice law in New York State. She is certified as a Leading Professional in Ethics & Compliance (LPEC), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Tricia is currently working towards a Master’s in Education in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State.
