    Mr. Varges works with boards, senior management, heads of key functions, and regulators on the more challenging and delicate aspects of these and other areas. He is also on the faculty of the University of St. Gallen Executive School in Switzerland where he is Director of Compliance Studies.

Jim has extensive experience in writing, producing, and communicating codes of conduct and corporate policies; designing, managing, and implementing ethics & compliance risk assessments; implementing anti-corruption and bribery initiatives; conducting third party due diligence reviews; and helping managers at all levels become better ethical leaders.
    Jim is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.

    Ms. Kennedy, Senior Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, has been with Emergent BioSolutions since September 2016. Prior to working at Emergent, Ms. Kennedy served as Senior Vice President, Ethics and Compliance at SAIC where she designed and implemented a comprehensive Ethics and Compliance program. Prior to joining SAIC, Ms. Kennedy was the Vice President, Global Compliance and Chief Ethics Officer at Honeywell Inc. and was in private practice serving as a partner at Jenner & Block, Holland & Knight, and Seyfarth Shaw. Ms. Kennedy holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. in Government from Oberlin College.
