Witt/Kieffer has been engaged to assist Piedmont Healthcare based in Atlanta, Georgia with the recruitment of its new Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer.


The Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer (CCPO) will provide overall direction through the strategic enhancement and continued execution of a healthcare compliance program in support of the mission and strategic goals of Piedmont Healthcare (PHC).  This executive position promotes ethical management behavior and an awareness and understanding of positive ethical principles and compliance with federal and state law in all areas of compliance programs, assists in planning and identifying priorities for compliance and privacy. The new CCPO will advance and support PHC’s enterprise wide risk-assessment, compliance and privacy programs. This position is a mission critical position to centralize and develop a single compliance program serving the needs of a rapidly growing organization.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree while a Master’s Degree, Law Degree, other advanced degree, or certificate in healthcare compliance (CHC) is strongly preferred. In addition, candidates must have an outstanding record of achievement with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in healthcare compliance, preferably for a large, multi-hospital system. The successful candidate will also be a strategic, transparent and collaborative business partner comfortable in a fast paced and complex environment.
