Under the direction of GWS’ Chief Compliance Officer, individual will lead the implementation, management and sustainment of the CBRE/GWS Ethics and Compliance Program across GWS’ Americas Region. General responsibilities include facilitation and monitoring of internal investigations, creation and maintenance of policies and procedures, coordination of risk assessments, training and communications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead communication efforts with the GWS Regional/Local Leadership Teams. Participate as an active member of the CBRE Regional Compliance Teams.

Monitor investigations for GWS globally. Provide quarterly reports and ad hoc reports as requested. Assign and coordinate investigations and ensure action plans by the business are developed and executed in a timely manner. Help identify and facilitate compliance audits/monitoring.

Create, coordinate and deploy E&C training programs through multiple avenues. Coordinate E&C training logistics, requirements and completion.

Assemble GWS’ Americas regional risk assessment. Probe and explore with the business the risk assessment process and support business in identifying and quantifying the risk exposure, coordinating risk mitigation actions and monitor business progress.

Supports Sales due diligence efforts. Work with GWS business to address customer specific compliance issues/requests (i.e., RFPs, regulatory compliance, contract compliance, investigation/audit requests, etc.). Ad hoc projects (e.g., business case preparation, business teaming, etc.).

Manage and supervise GWS Country/Account Compliance Champions.

Preparation and documentation of GWS Global Compliance Council quarterly meetings and manage the Compliance section of the GWS Intranet page.

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree. 3-5 years of professional work experience in the areas of compliance, accounting, auditing or legal. Outsourcing experience in the areas of facilities, project and real estate management a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across multiple cultures are important. Ability to work globally as part of a global/regional compliance team and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and analytical skills a must for success.

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers and to balance multiple priorities driving projects to completion while meeting all deadlines in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to conduct financial analysis and comprehend, analyze, interpret documents, and trends.

Advanced knowledge and use of computer software and hardware (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite).

Bilingual (English – Spanish) a plus
