About the 2020 ACE Best Practice Workshop

As we embark on our first virtual best practices workshop, our program team has focused on finding new ways to offer attendees with the same opportunities for professional development and networking as we’ve delivered in-person at our previous twelve workshops.  The event will look and feel different, of course, but we hope you come away with new and renewed knowledge, connections, and enthusiasm for your work in the compliance & ethics industry.

Professional Development Credits
Each session is designed to meet accreditation standards for SHRM, NASBA, SCCE and the Georgia Bar Association.  Sessions will include 50 minutes of content and we strongly encourage attendee participation in the designated Q&A times! This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs (SCCE). Credits will be issued based on actual run time and attendance.

Networking Lunch
ACE invites all attendees to drop-in and connect in our Gatherly virtual ballroom.  Gatherly offers a simple and casual way to meet and chat digitally with other attendees, sponsors, and presenters.  Be sure to check-in during the break, as there will be a prize drawing for those who make their way around our virtual ballroom!
Happy Hour Debrief
Join ECI for a virtual happy hour!  Debrief with friends and colleagues from across the state and country in one of our informal zoom rooms.

Please note that times, topics and presenters are subject to change.  We will do our best to keep registrants updated with any changes.

The Atlanta Compliance and Ethics Roundtable exists to promote ethical business practices through the provision of educational resources, networks and discussion forums; professional support to current and developing ethics professionals; and through the support of industry research.

Formed in 2006 through collaboration between The Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility at Georgia State University, the J. Mack Robinson Colleges of Business and Law at Georgia State University, and area ethics professionals, ACE is now the leading network for Ethics and Compliance Officers within Atlanta’s top companies and academic institutions.

ACE maintains a membership comprised of ethics or compliance professionals who may join individually or as a corporate entity.  Membership includes access to ACE tools and resources, website and certain member-only events. Membership also includes recognition on ACE promotional materials and website. Most importantly, membership in ACE signifies that an individual or company is actively engaged in supporting and promoting business ethics as a field and in developing the future of the field in Atlanta.
