The Value of Multiple Stakeholder Perspectives When Assessing Your E&C Program.

Evaluating your organization’s E&C program and associated activities from multiple perspectives provides insight into your program’s design and implementation, prioritize areas of strength and improvement and to better allocate limited resources.

Are ready to align your E&C program goals with your organization’s strategic plan? Updating and strengthening your program begins with ECI’s E&C Program Assessment. It can be your roadmap to success.

The report the organization will receive post-assessment will provide the tools and resources needed to develop action plans and communicate findings to various stakeholders. The report will indicate, by principle, the maturity level of the E&C program. It also contains practical guidance regarding areas that may require future attention.

Did you know ECI offers targeted versions of the E&C Program Assessment to incorporate the perspectives of an organization’s senior leadership and board members? These companion assessments include the perspective of stakeholders beyond the E&C team.

3 Ways to Assess Your E&C Program

1. The E&C Team Perspective

  • Single-seat option: There is one submission to the assessment for your E&C function. Either one member of the E&C function takes the assessment or a group of E&C team members gather to discuss the questions and submit answers based on consensus. The report is generated based on one submission.

  • Multi-seat option: Multiple members of your E&C function answer the assessment. This option is best for larger E&C functions. The E&C team members’ responses are aggregated into one report.

2. The Senior Leadership Perspective

The Senior Leaders E&C Program Assessment is designed to gather information from the perspective of C-Suite and/or senior leadership on the integration of current E&C efforts across the enterprise. Including additional stakeholders ensures program blind spots are accounted for, action items are realistic for implementation, and departments collectively agree on key E&C practices.

3. The Board Perspective

The Board E&C Program Assessment examines the board’s awareness of E&C efforts and high-level oversight capacity.
