This all-new report, the first of four to be released in 2019, explores the differences in how different countries across the globe view the ethics & compliance efforts of their organizations. The metrics used in this report are based on ECI’s HQP Assessment Instrument, which gives an accurate overview of an organization’s E&C efforts based on the 5 principles that are inherent in high-quality ethics & compliance programs (HQPs) that determines a level of maturity for the organization’s overall E&C efforts.

These 5 principles, along with the maturity framework, were explored, researched and proven by a panel of E&C leaders and practitioners, including 5 former Deputy Attorneys General (DAGs).

This GBES report seeks to define where the organizations in these countries align along each level of the maturity framework.

ECI’s Global Business Ethics Survey (GBES) is the premier, longitudinal study on workplace behavior around the world.

Our research team conducts surveys in 18 countries to find out:

  • The latest trends and cultural shifts affecting the workplace.
  • The affect of workplace behavior on the employer/employee relationship.
  • How organizations are effected by social movements like #MeToo and much more.

This in-depth report is a thorough look at the behaviors effecting workplaces large and small in industries from financial, oil and gas, retail, service industries and more.

GBES keeps your finger on the pulse of the ethics & compliance and cultural climate worldwide. Find out how global trends could effect your organization.

ECI is trusted by ethics officers and practitioners representing some of the largest companies in the world. Since 1922, E&C professionals have leaned on ECI to provide the research, in-depth reporting and tools they need to improve their ethics & compliance programs to the highest-quality standard.
