DECEMBER 10 | Best Practice Forum | Impact of Remote Work on E&C Programs

The ways in which today’s organizations define “the workplace” were upended this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote work has become the norm for many employees in the US and around the globe. We are only now beginning to understand key impacts of remote work on E&C programs. An ECI working group has been studying the issue using ECI’s five principles of high quality ethics and compliance programs (HQP) as a framework for their analysis. This Best Practice Forum will present their findings and recommendations, considering the impact of remote work on strategy, risk management, culture, speak up climate and processes, and accountability.

You will learn:
• Unique impacts of remote work on E&C programs through the lens of leading practitioners and the five HQP principles.
• Ways to lean into and anticipate how remote work will affect E&C programs, leaders and employees in the context of ethics and compliance.
• Best practices of leading E&C programs in addressing conduct trends, cybersecurity considerations, training, investigations and more that are emerging in the remote work environment.
